Make Me a Mixtape (11-year-old edition)

For his birthday, I've been commissioned to create a mix CD for my eleven-year-old cousin. I was given a few ideas along with songs he really wants to hear. The first five tracks are the ones he really wants to hear (in addition to a few other upbeat Beatles tracks). So, I decided to make the following mix CD. Any ideas/suggestions would be great. Maybe those who know 11-year-olds well could really help. (I'm especially looking at you, Py and J.)

I do love "Kites are Fun" so very much.

Not sure about "The Sporting Life" -- that seems a bit fey and adultish to me, not really kid-poppy.

How about some FoW -- "Utopia Parkway" maybe? Hanson is actually underrated. I'm also thinking Junior Walker and the All Stars.

It's been a year since I moved away from Lakewood, and even though I could relocate to a new place as a newly-single guy, I've chosen to stay where I am. I enjoy living in North Dallas/Richardson given its central location, being not too far away from places I have enjoyed going to in my fourteen-plus years living in Dallas County. Yes, they got some nice airplay in their day, but people seem to have forgotten about them.
