Advice for the young at heart

Songs in me heads:
"Advice for the Young at Heart" by Tears for Fears
"Serious" by [DARYL]
"Nightdrive" by Jimmy Eat World
Bill Cosby's impersonation of an Art Blakely drum solo

This is funny but very noble. More proof that nu-metal was the hair metal of yesteryear.

I received the new issue of Law of Inertia in the mail yesterday. Cedric and Omar from the Mars Volta are on the cover and their interview/story is well, very interesting. Certain things that I heard about At the Drive-In's final months are clarified, at least from their perspective.

Travis Barker of blink-182 sheds more light on the band's "indefinite hiatus."

Don't believe the hype, just enjoy the music.

For me, they were one of most consistent rock bands of the ’90s, meandering through shoegazer, hard rock, space rock and pop rock, all while eluding mainstream pigeonholing. Led by the smooth, warm pipes of vocalist/guitarist Rob Dickinson (cousin of Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson), Catherine Wheel featured Brian Futter on lead guitar, Dave Hawes on bass and Neil Sims on drums. They weren’t a pretty-boy guitar band, but they weren’t a scuzzy bunch of ragamuffins either. Though the band hailed from England, Catherine Wheel found itself more welcome on American air...
